We seem to at or over 90% starting their search for a new home on the Internet. Our for sale by owner market is booming - both in number of FSBO web sites and the numbers of listings on each. Real estate boards in various provinces ahve tried to 'punish' realtors who offer 1% discunted rates or tie up with a FSBO web site, but the trend is so strong that the monopoly dyas are numbered. I don’t think she even showed it once. The only traffic we ever had was from the buyer agents. We are definitley considering FSBO for when we sell again in the spring.
